How it works
How a Worlds mission actually works
What happens when you speak, how progression is calculated, and what the game does and does not do.

FIRST STEPS
How to play
Find your footing in real conversations, one moment at a time. Explore at your pace; the city will show you where your next practice can begin.
1. Move through the city
Use WASD, arrow keys, a click, or the touch controls. Walk close to people and doors.
2. Meet the person in the place
Press E or choose the prompt when it appears. Your briefing and conversation unfold right where the moment happens.
3. Try a guided preview
See how an encounter feels before you use your microphone or save any progress.
4. Keep your progress
Sign in to keep your voice practice, relationships, memories, and unlocked stories with you.
Your progress
How progression works
Three systems track different things, and none of them is a single combined score.
Story
Opens the next situation once you've handled the current one sufficiently well. Perfection is not required.
Mastery
Your best-ever performance on a mission — XP, insignia, and demonstrated techniques. Replays can only add to this, never subtract.
Memory
What a character remembers about your most recent interaction with them, whether or not it was your best.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account to play?
No account is needed for four live starter missions. Sign in to save progression; further live missions require Worlds membership.
Do I need a microphone?
Yes, for live missions — you speak your responses out loud. Reading about Worlds on this site does not require a microphone.
Is there a wrong answer?
There's rarely one correct script. Different approaches can succeed; some handle the relationship better than others.
Are the characters real people?
No. Every character is an AI-generated practice partner, with responses generated live in the conversation.
What happens to my data and voice?
Voice-session audio is processed in real time and is not stored long-term after the session. Transcripts and analysis are retained according to the documented retention period, consistent with Voice2Evolve's published privacy policy.
